Industry partners who have earned the CCIP certification are able to engage with community managers more effectively since they have an understanding and knowledge of what community managers do and how they can support community managers and HOA boards.
Industry Partners can earn the CCIP in 4 steps:
STEP 1: Review CACM's available Industry Partner Memberships for incredible savings on registrations, networking opportunities, and much more!
STEP 2: Complete and pass the required courses of CIP100 – HOA Core Principles for Industry Providers, CIP200 – Enhance Your Professional Presence – Industry Partner, and CIP300 – Foundational Ethics for Industry Partners.
STEP 3: Collect three (3) recommendation forms from a 1) board member, 2) industry partner, and 3) an employer or a CACM Certified member.
STEP 4: Upload the required course completion documents and a completed CCIP Certification Application to your in-progress certification.
Though you may begin the certification process without having HOA industry experience by completing the three required CCIP certification courses, a minimum of six months industry experience is required in order to submit the CCIP certification application.

The CCIP Application
After completing the required courses of CIP100 – HOA Core Principles for Industry Providers, CIP200 – Enhance Your Professional Presence – Industry Partner, and CIP300 – Foundational Ethics for Industry Partners, you will be able to download your course completion documents from your transcript and be able to upload them to your in-progress certification.
After completing the required courses, you will be required to collect three (3) recommendation forms from a 1) board member 2) Industry Partner 3) one of either of the following; employer, CCAM, CAFM, MCAM or CAMEx.
If applicant is the owner of a company: In lieu of an Employer, CCAM, CAFM, MCAM or CAMEx recommendation form, you may submit two recommendation forms from a board/committee member and two recommendation forms from an Industry Provider, CCAM, CAFM, MCAM or CAMEx. CACM also requires a copy of these three items: 1.) Business License 2.) Articles of Incorporation 3.) Company DBA filing. In lieu of a business license, CACM will accept an insurance declarations page or bank statement.
The final step is to upload a completed CCIP Application. Please note that incomplete applications will not be processed by the CACM Education & Credentialing Team.
